Style Your Wake For Fashion Magazines

' You cannot have a proud and chivalrous spirit if your conduct is mean and paltry; for whatever a man's action are, such must be his spirit.' - Demosthenes

So it's the second day of hari raya and i must say, the first day was really fun.
What is better than to be able to spend quality time with your loved ones huh?
But the true highlight of the day was when we watched the Manchester Derby match at my grandpa's house.
Truly an amazing match and what amazing goals that were scored.
United edged out City by 4 goals to 3.
Haha.
Much much controversy with the winning goal by Owen.
4 mins of added time was given after the 90mins and Owen scored on the 95th.
And how did the 1min was added on you ask?
Well it was because Sir Alex made a change by bringing on Carrick for Anderson.
It was right for the referee to add on more time.
But some may ask if it was too long?
Hughes will never sleep peacefully after that match.
Be sure to look out for him protesting in the papers.
Haha.
But what made it fun is that when i was watching at my gramps place, the whole family was there.
All my aunties and uncles and cousins were there.
And guess what, all of them were United fans.
Haha.
So you could just imagine the atmosphere in the room when Owen scored the winning goal.
Haha.
Bloody hilarious.
My cousin filmed us screaming and shouting. Hopefully i can get the video and i'll share it with you guys.

Anyway, listen to the song that i've just updated on my 'Music' section.
It's a song by Tinchy Stryder feat. Amelle.
Love it a lot.
It's called 'Never Leave You'.
Here are the lyrics.

[Amelle]
Woah woah, and I will never leave ya (I will never leave)
Woah woah, and I will never leave ya (I will never leave)
Woah woah, and I will never leave ya (And I will never leave)
Woah woah, and I will never leave ya

I’m still loving you like it was the first time
I’m still loving you like it was the first time (Like the very first time)

[Tinchy]
Ayo I’ve been there, right here on them Bow streets
Late nights tryna write, Mum saying go sleep
A king here, raising well within my own feet
Dealing with the mainstream, thank the Lord daily
I’m sincere, and I’ve been from the start
Ask Dyl, ask Will man I’ve had it in my heart
So I’ve dropped tears, cos everything’s changed
Reminiscing them days tryna turn the page

[Amelle] (Tinchy)
Cos I’ve been around the world, I’ve seen so many places
Living the life, I worked so hard to make it
Trading the world for money, stars and power
Living my life at a hundred miles an hour

I’m in love with you like it was the first time (Like the very first time)
I’m still loving you like it was the first time (Like the very first time), yeah

Woah woah, and I will never leave ya (I will never leave)
Woah woah, and I will never leave ya

[Tinchy]
You must be joking, don’t tell me that it’s over
I’m driving the scene forward, I’m a chauffer
It’s open, so come we all enter
Tired of being in the back, now we’re centre
We’re chosen, but they’re telling us we’re selling out
All we wanna do’s open doors now hear me out
We’re frozen, cos they left us in the cold
Only right I took my chance, now I’m bringing it home
Because I...

[Amelle]
[Amelle] (Tinchy)
Cos I’ve been around the world, I’ve seen so many places
Living the life, I worked so hard to make it
Trading the world for money, stars and power
Living my life at a hundred miles an hour

I’m in love with you like it was the first time (Like the very first time)
I’m still loving you like it was the first time (Like the very first time), yeah
Woah woah, and I will never leave ya (I will never leave)
Woah woah, and I will never leave ya (I will never leave)
Woah woah, and I will never leave ya (And I will never leave)
Woah woah, and I will never leave ya

[Tinchy and Amelle]
Ayo I dive in, and now I’m swimming in the deep end
And I’ve been gone since the weekend
So how’s your week been
Without me how you keeping
Well this is comeback season...
Well this is comeback season

[Tinchy]
I call it comeback
I’ve seen the whole map
And I’ll be back by the evening

[Amelle] (Tinchy)
Heyyyyy...
I’m still loving you like it was the first time (Like the very first time)
I’m still loving you like it was the first time (Like the very first time)

Woah woah, and I will never leave ya [I’m still loving you like it was the first time] (Like the very first time)
Woah woah, and I will never leave ya [I’m still loving you like it was the first time] (Like the very first time)

Woah woah, and I will never leave ya (I will never leave)
Woah woah, and I will never leave ya (I will never leave)
Woah woah, and I will never leave ya (And I will never leave)
Woah woah, and I will never leave ya

So i guess that's it for this lovely afternoon.
Have to go for more visiting which is = more money.
Haha.
Till then.
Cheers!

This Is Comeback Season

'People who ask our advice almost never take it. Yet we should never refuse to give it, upon request, for it often helps us to see our own way more clearly' - Brendan Francis

Hey guys.
Finally have some time to update.
Well, i can't really remember what happened in the past few weeks so.
I'm just gonna talk about this week.
So here goes.
Had a game against Home United Under 18 on Wednesday.
Unfortunately, we lost 4 to 1.
Lots and lots of silly goals we conceded but, i'm sure the team will improve and be ready for the competition.
Btw, it was the first time ever that i captained the squad and honestly, i was really shocked.
Didn't expect me to be the skipper for that day but, truth be told, i was really proud that i was.
The pressure kinda affected me a little at the start of the game and, on the day that i was the captain, i almost put our side behind with an own goal.
Haha.
Thank god the keeper was there to pick the ball up. PHEW!
Anyway, kudos to Sumeet for scoring the first ever goal for our team.
It was a screamer from the edge of the area. Lovely, just lovely.
Come on guys, i know we can do better.
We'll fight through thick and thin together.

Just got back my results yesterday.
And i am over the moon with my results.
Just want to thank god for answering my prayers and leading me to the right path(:
Got myself a little treat by buying F50 boots!

It was on sale and it was selling off at $52.
So worth it.
Even though i'm a fan of Vapors and they were selling it too, but it was $99 and i already have one so.
The sale is at Velocity Adidas store if any of you guys are wondering.
They have apparels, shoes, and all kinds of stuff.
It's only till 21st so.
Be sure to head down fast yeah.
The Nike sale is at Velocity too in front of the Nike store.
That is till 22nd.

Anyway, today is the last day of the fasting month so.
Happy Hari Raya everyone!!!
Haha.
For me, there's only one main mission and one mission only.
COLLECT AS MUCH MONEY AS POSSIBLE!
Lol.
As bad as it may sound, the economy is really bad and it's not helping us at all.
I'll do whatever it takes to get as much money i can.
And no matter how morally right you think you are, i know you'll do the same too.
Hahaha.
I guess that's all for now.
See ya guys around(:
Cheers!

Everyone I Knew Was Waiting On A Queue

And those who are working and have an opening for me, it will be much appreciated if you let me know (:

If You Step Up I'll Step Up Too

"To fear love is to fear life, and those who fear life is already three parts dead"- Bertrand Russell

What's up guys.
How are you guys doing?
Well, i know it's kinda late but Happy Birthday Singapore!.
Been caught up with the pile of homework that i have to complete in such a short span.
Anyway, sad to say, we lost against the Nationals Under-15 last Thursday 5 to 0.
I know, i know. It's bad. It's real bad.
What can i say, they were much better than us even with the age gap.
To be fair to us, we haven't had training for a month or so and the Nationals Under-15 won SMU 4-0 or something like that.
That is how good they are.
Well apart from that, the test went really well.
I have high hopes for it so. Hopefully it turns out well.
Now i have to mug for this module which i have no idea whatsoever about.
And i really mean that.
Not a single clue.
But the good thing is, now i have time on my side.
I'm only having lessons for two hours tmrw and three on wednesday.
Gotta put those extra time to good use if i want to do well.

If you guys don't know yet, Manchester United lost to Chelsea yesterday in the Community Shield Trophy.
The game was all squared in 90 mins with Chelsea winning the penalty shootout 4-1.
It was a game with much controversy and the referee was definitely the man of the moment.
The game kicked off with a beautiful strike from Nani in the 6th minute giving United a well earned lead at the break.
But it all went bad in the second half when Chelsea dominated and scored in just 4 mins after the restart with a header by Carvalho.
The rest of the game was filled with controversy and the referee was definitely the one to blame.
It all started when both Evra and Ballack challenged the ball and it resulted in Ballack being injured.
But it definitely was not a foul and Evra continued on with the ball and attacked.
But the referee suddenly stopped play just because Ballack was lying on the field. That was a mistake by the ref.
After that, there was another incident between Evra and Ballack when Ballack body checked Evra and Evra fell to the ground.
Now that, was an obvious foul but the ref didn't blow the whistle. Plus, the ref didn't even stopped play like he did when Ballack was injured.
That resulted in a 3 on 2 counter attack with Lampard scoring an easy shot 5 yards from the goal.
At that point, the Manchester players were furious with the referee and was wondering why he did not stop the play.
The next incident was the last goal by Rooney at the 90th minute when he was actually offside but the whistle wasn't blown.
To be fair, it was a really close call and it took the replay to confirmed that it was offside.
Chelsea then went on to win the cup by beating United 4-1 on penalties.
Oh well, these are the things that make football such an interesting game.
The ref's decision can make or break a team.
United will definitely bounce back from this loss in time when the season starts.
They will be a force to be reckon with when they start to click.

Anyway, it's time for me to hit the bed to get all the rest that i possibly can.
The next few days would be hell for me and i've got to prepare for it.
I'll try to update soon.
Till then guys.
See ya.

Everyboy's Got A Drug Dealer On Speed Dial

"We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give"- Sir Winston Churchill.

So it's 11.31am now and i'm in school.
Had nothing to do so i just thought of blogging since i haven't updated it for quite a long time.
Well, i'm just gonna keep it short cause my break is coming up and i am really REALLY hungry!.Haha.
Gonna have a test at 1pm. Honestly haven't studied anything about it.
Just read the past paper answers and memorized it. Hope it's enough.
Oh yeah,i almost forgot.
I'm gonna have a soccer match later on with Nationals Under-15 so.
Those of you who are free and are in Ngee Ann, come on down to the stadium to support us alright.
It's starting at 7p.m so.
Sad to say, i finally had a taste of doing bad in my test after a long run of doing so well.
Gonna have to buck up now if i want to keep my GPA up.
Exams in 3 weeks time!. Fasting in 3 weeks time!.
Everything is happening so fast. Have to slow down and take it one step at a time.
John is bugging me to stop blogging so that we can have an earlier lunch so.
Till then.
See ya guys around! (:

Younger Now Than We Were Before

"Let me ask you something. If someone prays for patience, you think God gives them patience? Or does he give them the opportunity to be patient? If he prayed for courage, does God give him courage, or does he give him opportunities to be courageous? If someone prayed for the family to be closer, do you think God zaps them with warm fuzzy feelings, or does he give them opportunities to love each other?" -Evan Almighty

That was a quote which got stuck in my head ever since i heard of it the first time.
It was plain and simply brilliant.
Got it off from the movie Evan Almighty which i watched today.
Though i've watched that movie loads of time.
Today is another movie marathon day for me actually.
Watched first and foremost Evan Almighty.
Followed by My Sassy Girl, which i thought was fantastic, then after that it was 13 Going on 30.
And last but not least, Ghost of Girlfriends Past which i watched online.
I still have to say that the best movie of the day was My Sassy Girl.
I can't explain why to be honest. It just is i guess.
It was something new, fresh, not to mention creative. Simply put, it was brilliant.

Finally caught Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince yesterday at Lido.
Watched it with my mum and sis.
I wouldn't say that it was the best movie out of the six but, i'm pretty satisfied with it.
Maybe it's because i didn't read the book, that's why it interests me.
What they lack in action was made up with the understanding of the story.
I mean, I've heard of the Hocrux thing from my friends when they read the book but i never really understood what it meant.
The movie did just about clear up all my questions.
But one thing still remains on my mind.
Who the bloody hell is that half-wolf half-human guy?
And who was that boy that they took in the beginning of the movie?
I know SOMEONE(you know who you are) told me to read the book to understand it better but i'm just bloody lazy. Haha.
Maybe someday i will.

Well school has been a little dodgy.
Loads of my classmates are getting sick and i'm starting to worry if i will myself.
If there's one thing i hate the most, it would probably be getting sick.
It's about time i try and start to catch up with my studies.
Been watching movies a lot lately with John at the library.
Should really cut down on that and focus more on my studies.
But i can't help it. I am after all a movie lover.
Not gonna have soccer trainings for about a month so i'm kinda free nowadays.
Looking forward to next week though.
It's time for me to de-stress for awhile before i start focusing on school again.
Like they always say "Time is gold".
So i'm gonna grab whatever time i have left and spend it to the fullest.
Till then guys.
See ya around!

What A Sick Masochistic Lion

"Do not look back and grieve over the past, for it is gone; and do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful that it will be worth remembering." - Ida Scott Taylor

Just thought of sharing you guys a quote which i heard while watching One Tree Hill.
Kinda makes you think doesn't it?
About your life, about how you are living it, about everything that matters, and about our regrets.
I mean, have you guys ever sat down and asked yourselves "Who am i exactly?"
Well if you haven't, i think it's time that you do.
Cause to me, what's most important in life is not how much money you make or how famous you are in life, but it's about who you are.
And just remember that who you are right now doesn't mean that that will be who you are in the future.
Who you are in the future depends on who you CHOOSE to be from now on.
So if you guys feel that you can be a much better you, then do it.
I know i am. Remember, it's a marathon; not a sprint.
Well, till next time then.
P.S Just another last quote which i wanted to share which is on One Tree Hill is:

"If you find reasons not to be with someone, then pretty soon you'll find them. So just let it go and be with that someone you love." - Lucas Scott
