Didnt really do much today.Woke up at around 12.45?
Watched 90210 all the way cause they had like the marathon on Channel V.
Went out for dinner with my family and bought some stuff too.
Headed home after that and watched 'Rocky Balboa' on HBO.
It was really a touching movie.It had this line which really made me think.
This is what Rocky Balboa said to his son:
"It's not how hard you hit.But how hard you can keep getting hit."
Or something like that.
Im not too sure.
Haha.
But if you really think about it,it really makes
alot of sense.
Its not all about pushing yourself.Its about being able to take all the problems,punishment and detours and still have the ability to push on.
It is about getting up and pushing on forward when you get thrown to the ground.
That is much more important.Well,that is how i look at it anyway.
And another thing.I read something in
Mens Health which really made me think.
It had an article about people writing out their New Years Resolution.
What it said was that why do people need to wait until new years before they actually make the effort to change all their bad habits and character.
Yes,i do agree that it is better late than never but.What if that bad habit and character that you had all along actually affected a big part of your life in 2008.
Like say you have a bad temper.And this bad temper of yours always gets you fired from your job.And it
doesnt only happen in one job,it happens on all the jobs that you have worked in.
Do you actually wait till New Years to change or actually change straight away when you realise the problem?.
So i guess what it is trying to say is that people should act on things when it happens at first.Not when you keep procrastinating and finally realise that you need to change and that is during New Years.
When you have a problem,act on it fast.
Dont procrastinate.
So i guess form now on,no more New Years resolution for me.If i have a bad habit or character,i change it at that time.Not after a whole year.
Oh well.I really have this feeling that 2009 will be a big year.Hopefully it will be a good one.Till then.
