Like i said,Saturday is soccer day.
Set my alarm at 7 but eventually woke up at 9.45.Hahaha.
Well,there were definitely much more people than last week.
And me and Chan have this kinda thing.
Everytime i come,he leaves.
Haha.
Nothing exciting really happened though.
Played with other older people.I think it was the same group of people we played with last week.
And like last week,we trashed them again.Pretty bad actually.The final score was like 7-0 or something like that.
Ate at
Hougang Point and went home straight after to get changed for the party later on.
Met up with Wen
Hao first then went to
AMK Mrt station to meet Eunice.
Btw Eunice,told you it
wasnt gonna be awkward.
Well,among us that is.But super awkward with
Fadhliyanna.(
Dont worry if you cant really pronounce her name properly.I've known her for 6 years and i still can't do it and neither can Wen
Hao).
Haha.
Took the train to
Bugis.Well,the party was actually our primary school friend sweet 16.
It was weird that she invited us
because we haven't talked in ages.Oh well.
The party was kinda fun i guess.
We were the first one there!.And i thought we were late.
So we waited for like an hour or so before the party actually started.
It was actually kinda classy.The party was held poolside so it had a really nice atmosphere.
And the theme was
Bollywood Nite but we didn't really follow it though.
So the party was kinda rocking before the DJ actually started speaking.
He
wasn't that bad.What was bad was that what came out of his mouth was about 95%
Tamil.
So we were like 'What?!' all the way.And we did cheer and gave a little '
WOOHOO!' at times.Just didn't know if we did it at the right time.
Haha.
The food were also all
indian so we didn't know half of what we were eating.
Luckily there was dancing in the end so it wasn't that bad.And again,it was all
Indian song so.Me and Wen
Hao just danced like some idiot.
Haha.
Then me,Wen
Hao and Eunice left the place and walked all the way to
Suntec.
We actually stopped by
Haji Lane near
Bugis cause Eunice said that there were some cool shops there.It was all closed by the time we got there.
But i have to admit,the place was quite happening.There were a few clubs there and places where you can smoke '
Shisha'.Should try to go there one day.
Well anyway,went to
Suntec to catch 'Seven Pounds' at around 11.50pm.
It was okay i guess.Here's how the story goes(Spoiler alert!)
Its about this guy named Ben Thomas which is played by Will Smith.
He is a rich,successful man with a loving wife.
He was very happy with his life when suddenly he got into an accident where his wife was killed along with 7 other people in the bus which crashed into Ben's car.
So he lives on and he acts like he is working in the IRS.
He actually helps those people who are only nice.
Like once,he gave part of his liver to a man.He also did a bone marrow transplant to another person.
And something else which i forgot.
Everytime he finds a person with a problem,he would ask around to see if that person is nice.If that person is nice,he would help them.
Like he got very close to a woman who has this heart problem.And they were in love.But the woman might die if she
doesnt have a heart transplant.
This other guy who is blind,is actually a very nice guy too.
And this other woman with kids is being abused by her husband.
So Ben actually gave his beach house to his lady and her family to get away from her husband.
Then committed suicide by getting stung by his pet jellyfish.But told the doctor that he would donate his eyes to the blind man and donate his heart to the lady before committing suicide.
So
thats basically how the story ends.
Well,my rating for the show is 7.5/10.It was a good movie,just not as good as Will Smith's other movie which is 'Pursuit Of
Happynees'.Though it was about the same,i still don't think it was up to par.
The story was kinda difficult to understand.It didn't really explain clearly why he actually did all this stuff.
And why he only helps good people.If it were to explain much clearer,it would definitely have been much better.
But the storyline was something different.It was an original.
And Will Smith as always was fantastic.But maybe not an
Oscar-winning performance.
So those of you who are thinking of watching it,my advice is watch it only if you like movies like 'Pursuit Of
Happyness' and stuff.
Those movies that are kinda touching and moving.
Worth your $6 or $7.50 but not worth
ur $9.50 or $10.
It was good,just not good enough.
Well anyway,shared a cab home and reached around 2+.Was really shagged so i slept soon after that.That's about it.Till then.
