If You Step Up I'll Step Up Too

"To fear love is to fear life, and those who fear life is already three parts dead"- Bertrand Russell

What's up guys.
How are you guys doing?
Well, i know it's kinda late but Happy Birthday Singapore!.
Been caught up with the pile of homework that i have to complete in such a short span.
Anyway, sad to say, we lost against the Nationals Under-15 last Thursday 5 to 0.
I know, i know. It's bad. It's real bad.
What can i say, they were much better than us even with the age gap.
To be fair to us, we haven't had training for a month or so and the Nationals Under-15 won SMU 4-0 or something like that.
That is how good they are.
Well apart from that, the test went really well.
I have high hopes for it so. Hopefully it turns out well.
Now i have to mug for this module which i have no idea whatsoever about.
And i really mean that.
Not a single clue.
But the good thing is, now i have time on my side.
I'm only having lessons for two hours tmrw and three on wednesday.
Gotta put those extra time to good use if i want to do well.

If you guys don't know yet, Manchester United lost to Chelsea yesterday in the Community Shield Trophy.
The game was all squared in 90 mins with Chelsea winning the penalty shootout 4-1.
It was a game with much controversy and the referee was definitely the man of the moment.
The game kicked off with a beautiful strike from Nani in the 6th minute giving United a well earned lead at the break.
But it all went bad in the second half when Chelsea dominated and scored in just 4 mins after the restart with a header by Carvalho.
The rest of the game was filled with controversy and the referee was definitely the one to blame.
It all started when both Evra and Ballack challenged the ball and it resulted in Ballack being injured.
But it definitely was not a foul and Evra continued on with the ball and attacked.
But the referee suddenly stopped play just because Ballack was lying on the field. That was a mistake by the ref.
After that, there was another incident between Evra and Ballack when Ballack body checked Evra and Evra fell to the ground.
Now that, was an obvious foul but the ref didn't blow the whistle. Plus, the ref didn't even stopped play like he did when Ballack was injured.
That resulted in a 3 on 2 counter attack with Lampard scoring an easy shot 5 yards from the goal.
At that point, the Manchester players were furious with the referee and was wondering why he did not stop the play.
The next incident was the last goal by Rooney at the 90th minute when he was actually offside but the whistle wasn't blown.
To be fair, it was a really close call and it took the replay to confirmed that it was offside.
Chelsea then went on to win the cup by beating United 4-1 on penalties.
Oh well, these are the things that make football such an interesting game.
The ref's decision can make or break a team.
United will definitely bounce back from this loss in time when the season starts.
They will be a force to be reckon with when they start to click.

Anyway, it's time for me to hit the bed to get all the rest that i possibly can.
The next few days would be hell for me and i've got to prepare for it.
I'll try to update soon.
Till then guys.
See ya.

Everyboy's Got A Drug Dealer On Speed Dial

"We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give"- Sir Winston Churchill.

So it's 11.31am now and i'm in school.
Had nothing to do so i just thought of blogging since i haven't updated it for quite a long time.
Well, i'm just gonna keep it short cause my break is coming up and i am really REALLY hungry!.Haha.
Gonna have a test at 1pm. Honestly haven't studied anything about it.
Just read the past paper answers and memorized it. Hope it's enough.
Oh yeah,i almost forgot.
I'm gonna have a soccer match later on with Nationals Under-15 so.
Those of you who are free and are in Ngee Ann, come on down to the stadium to support us alright.
It's starting at 7p.m so.
Sad to say, i finally had a taste of doing bad in my test after a long run of doing so well.
Gonna have to buck up now if i want to keep my GPA up.
Exams in 3 weeks time!. Fasting in 3 weeks time!.
Everything is happening so fast. Have to slow down and take it one step at a time.
John is bugging me to stop blogging so that we can have an earlier lunch so.
Till then.
See ya guys around! (:
